We can produce any size tray within the following parameters. 1500mm long, 1000mm wide.
This solid natural Jura Beige limestone shower tray is pretty special. A first quality Jura Beige 50mm thick block of stone is carved in the following order.
Initially the block of Jura Beige Limestone is cut to size, in this instance 900x900mm.
Then after being loaded onto the CNC machine (A Scandinvent latest edition C4) 10mm is milled out of the middle roughly. After a tool change the CNC is programmed to smooth any chips from the edges and begin working on the sloping of the shower tray base towards the location of the waste. An additional 0-8mm is taken out of the slab to make a fall well in excess of BS Standard recommendations for removal of waste water from a wetroom.
The final program we run is the milling and tooling for carving the shape required for the waste unit.
The rest of the work is done by hand. Sanding and polishing by hand is the only way to get a perfect finish.
