The durability of this stone mean that it can easily cope with everyday family life in high footfall areas of the home. The low porosity also make is a good choice for bathrooms and wetrooms.
The top surface of the stone has been brushed. Brushing the marble changes the patina on the surface to a naturally worn and lightly antiqued. Our stock is only the first choice material from the quarry. Agean Grey Gold marble has also been very lightly chipped to antique the edges. This is not as distressed as a proper chiseled edge and simply adds some extra character to the finished product.
The overall appearance of this stone is of a pale silver grey floor with some lighter ivory and gold blending throughout the stone. This is a new stone sourced by Stone Vale for 2011 and with the option of both the OPUS Romana Pattern as well as just the 610 x 406mm tiles we this is will be a fantastic addition to our range.
The larger tile when purchased on it own does not have the lightly chiseled edge. The edges are straight sawn and the surface is still brushed.
