This is the Jerusalem pale gold limestone which we have had cut into the more expensive standard width but random length tiling format. We have also had the stone brushed which we believe is one of the most attractive finishes for this type of stone.
Brushing stone in the quarry serves two puposes. Firstly from an asthetical perspective the stone is made to look worn and antiqued. It also becomes a little smoother. A secondary benefit of brushing is that the stone surface is manipulated by the diamond brushes to make it harder and less porous (still requires sealing like all natural stones).
The Brushed Jerusalem Gold Limestone tiles all have a pale honey gold base colour with some tiles a little richer in colour and others slightly lighter. The overall tiled floor looks very smart but also aged with a mixture of warm pale golden tones.
This floor is another Stone Vale special offer where we have sourced the product for our customers as an one off quantity. After it is sold at this price the cost will be significantly higher thereafter.
