The parchment limestone is an ivory and gold limestone which can be sealed using colour intensifier to draw out additional shade of gold. This stone is also known sometimes as Jerusalem Bone Honey Limestone.
The stone is tumbled to create an antique finish. This also has the effect of making the stone appear lighter in colour. The ageing process also slightly etches the face of some of the tiles, completing the process of making the tiles look and feel worn.
The ivory base colour of the Parchment limestone is characterised by randomly distributed shells and flecks of colour. The subtle character and natural variation is the trademark of the Parchment limestone.
