The paving is very hard wearing, as well as being easy to clean. It is also fitted just like any other similar product i.e. using sand and cement, or using flexible, frost resistant adhesive onto concrete or screed. We would recommend fitting the floor with a grout rather than mortar, preferably a Mira flexible and waterproof grout.
The stone has a base colour of mushroom beige, with many of the stones in the pattern being darker, with walnut tones. Over the years we have sampled various travertine pavings and found this to be by far the best for the British climate. It is naturally the least porous, is not too light which can cause glare from the sun when wet, as well as being very easy to keep clean.
