Brazillian Multicolour slate is full of character and colour. A totally natural mix of greys, and autumn browns give the hard wearing stone a real high quality feel.
The Brazillian slate tiles are split faced. This is the traditional finish for slate, also know as a riven finish. The splitting of the stone into tiles, rather than cutting leaves a textured face which is part of the slate's superb character.
Many customers choose to seal this stone with a product called Lithofin Slate Seal. This gives a very tough, and glossy sheen to the stone which is easy to clean and maintain. Alternative matt finish stone impregnators also work well.
