Easy to apply, low maintenance self shine satin finish acrylic sealer. Enhances colour and texture. Protects against staining and stubborn dirt. Easy to maintain. May be used on travertine, limestone, sandstone, slate, unpolished marble, terracotta, quarry, bricks, terazzo and concrete. Suitable for domestic and commercial use.
Coverage: 15-30 sq m per litre (one coat) depending upon substrate porosity.
Instructions:
Ensure surface to be treated is completely clean, dry and free from cement and grout stain. Any moisture in the floor may cause the Satin Sealer to dry opaque or prevent the seal from reaching full hardness. Using a paintbrush or soft fluff-free cloth, apply a thin coat of Stonefix Satin Sealer evenly in one direction. Do not rub or buff the surface but allow to dry (approx 1 hour). Apply a second coat at right angles to the first. Subsequent coats should be applied at right angles to the previous. Do not over apply as too many coats may cause unsightly build up of Satin Sealer and/or reduce the efficiency of the product. Satin Sealer hardens after about an hour but will take a further three days to achieve full hardness and become fully water resistant. If in doubt, experiment on spare tiles to establish the optimum number of coats before general use.
Attention:
Avoid shaking the bottle prior to use. Frothing of liquid may lead to an inconsistent finish. Keep out of reach of children. Store in a frost proof place. Avoid using strong detergents and kitchen to wash floors treated with Stonefix Satin Sealer. Do not use below freezing. After contact with skin, wash with soap and water. Satin Sealer may not properly adhere to the most highly vitrified quarry tiles or ceramics. If in doubt, test on an inconspicuous area prior to general application. On higher porosity floor materials, additional coats of Stonefix Satin Sealer may be required. For interior use.
Maintenance:
Routinely sweep the floor. Use LTP Floorshire to clean and protect the floor. In areas where the seal becomes worn, reseal using more Stoneifx Satin Sealer. At some stage, complete renovation of the seal may be desired. In this case use Heavy Duty Grime Remover to strip the original seal before re-sealing with Stonefix Satin Sealer.
