The treatments give the granite tiles a charcoal grey colour as well as an textured, but level surface. As with all granite, the tiles are extremely hard wearing. The textured surface of the stone makes it suitable for use in wet areas, or anywhere none slip granite tile are required. The granite tiles can also be used effectively on walls in either a seamless tiled format by themselves, or alternatively combined with other materials, for example stainless steel, or polished granite.
Blowtorch-strength heat is applied to the surface to create a deeply textured surface. This surface is very rough and ideal for use outside. We can suppy this product simply left at this stage, however, the tiles we keep in stock are also brushed. This means some of the roughness is removed, and a textured, lightly rippled and smooth finish is achieved. The tiles are extremely hard wearing and are ideal for use in high traffic areas of the home, as well as areas where resistance to staining is important.
