We supply underfloor heating which is suitable for use with all of our internal natural stone flooring tiles. Electric heating mats are an extremely efficient way of heating a room, or simply to warm stone tiles. Thermonet heating mats are our preferred choice in heating mats because they are easy to install, very reliable, and tried and tested with our tiles.
Thermonet underfloor heating can be fitted onto concrete, screed, as well as onto wood. When fitting onto wood, Hardi Backer Boards should be stuck and screwed onto the floor before laying the Thermonet mats. Thermonet should be fitted by pouring Mira X Plan (reinforced self levelling compound) onto the heating mats until the heating wires are only just covered. This will give a smooth solid base for fitting a stone floor onto.
